Fuck gig work for life! So glad I'm back workin my trade as steel fabricator and welder. Getting deactivated in May was a serious blessing. The wear on vehicle is the hidden deal breaker for gig work. Everyone is literally in denial about how much money they ACTUALLY made because of vehicle maintenance cost when shit breaks.

Today I was told by doordash that an email numerous dashers in my market as well as myself included received with a link to reset our acceptance rates was a glitch but those dashers who currently qualify got a similar email but without a reset link. So the system glitched twice and sent two separate emails? Idk doordash really pissed me off today and I hope one day they get the living hell sued out of them! FUCK DOORDASH!!!

Common for me. VERY common. Support actually paid me, ( 2hours later).
Grabbed a pizza order, 6$ for 2 miles..received $2.75. Made a video about it today.
Good idea to unblock the customer after watching this, it was my regular.

once they botch the money it's basically impossible to get it right. That has been my experience, you talk to support, they write up a ticket and send it to a black hole. You contact support to follow up on it and they have no record of your last conversation... but you took screen shots of the chat. So they write up another ticket and send it down the black hole. Rinse repeat.

I contacted support a few times because the order was already picked up support tells me I can just unassign the order with no pay I then tell them what usually happens and get half pay. They’re probably hope some drivers are naive and unassign.

Unless it’s a huge amount I think trying to talk to someone and straighten it out is not worth it. Frustration getting a hold of someone, frustration explaining and being understood, frustration putting work on hold while trying to achieve these things . Nope not me

I had an offer today for $4.50 for 7.3 mi. It was an Applebee's order and said it was a large catering order and catering bag required. Have to say that is probably the worst offer I've had. How insulting to only be offered that much instead of $17.25+ Total will be higher. Needless to say I declined it.

There's an issue with there program here in central California for 2 weeks. It's impossible to schedule. And we don't have dash now anymore. So everyone in my market is stressing

I have had this happen in the past but I always got paid. It is a frustrating experience. Sadly when working these apps they glitch once in a while but are usually fixed in my experience.
