To be fair, her adorable polydactyl mitten paws *are* bigger than typical cat paws.
Also, some cats will go around intentionally making noise when they walk because they've realized humans have worse hearing than them, and they want you to be aware of their location. Most meow to do that, but others will walk in spots they know creak, or make sure their claws catch on carpeting, or "stomp" on stairs the way your furry daughter does!
