He was so committed to restoring Detroit, he did so much and did such a beautiful job on this building. A friend had a beautiful apartment in there and he did numerous other projects, then passed away so sadly. Rest in peace you are one wonderful Detroiter.

I lived on Peterboro in the 80's going to Wayne State. Enjoyed the beauty of this old mansion every day, even overgrown. Mr. Landy did Detroit a great service. I miss my hometown and the good people there.

This touched my heart. I grew up in Detroit/Hamtramck. My Dad was a police officer once. He used to take us kids around and show us these places...I love this song... So glad someone could do this!!!

I was born 70 yrs ago!
I'm so glad the blight has now been reduced and beauty and function returned.
