Just heartbreaking. How is it even possible there are people like this that exist? That poor child. What they put her through is just sickening. An innocent child, I can’t imagine how confused and scared she must have been during this ordeal and how alone and helpless she felt. I hope she is in a better place now surrounded by love and light and peace.

I'm shocked there's bond offered to people implicated in trying to abduct someone... If there's hard evidence they were stuffing someone into a trunk, they shouldn't be on the streets.

Everyone on the comments blaming the mom. The only person to blame is the criminal, this monster killer. Also, how did no other parent, teacher, scout leader offer to take the child home?

This is tragic. What I heard is that the detectives failed to pick up a phone years before to verify if these two brothers were incarcerated. Unbelievable.

I'll probably get hate for this because I know the mom's never forgave herself but i heard he say she "forgot" to pick her daughter up but then said when the dad asked about when she'd be home, the mom said "she should be back by now". If you forgot, wouldn't you then immediately remember when your husband asks about your daughter coming home?

The sound of pain a parent makes when they find out their child is dead is so haunting and unbearable to hear it destroys your heart n its a sound youll never forget just guttural screams its so sad
