6:05 the thing you have to remember when considering the cost of renting a fleet vehicle (vs your own car payment) - with the rental, you're getting a commercially registered and insured vehicle which allows you to drive "black" on the rideshare platforms and also do private rides assuming that the fleet operator has the right permits (e.g., TCP or TCL). There is a tremendous amount of cost and headache involved in providing those items from the fleet operator and these substantially raise your earning potential vs doing regular rideshare levels.

Long way of saying that if you are simply comparing $600/week for fleet versus $600/month for own car - you are really missing the point, big time.

Renting an electric vehicle is not worth it especially when Uber is sending drivers $3 and $5 dollar offers to pick someone up and drop them off. It will take forever to pay the weekly rental and you will have to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not worth it.

I found that along with Hertz and Avis rental options, the Uber app now has an option to find a fleet owner. I saw that today while trying to explorer the Hertz EVs. I was trying to understand it which is how I found the vid here. I am still confused

Just a waste of time and money working for Uber or Lyft in Chicago. I talk to quite a few drivers and I will ask them about rides and how much there making. Every time I ask them the total I will ask them did you deduct gas, maintenance, taxes etc. They always say no, then once I subtract everything and tell the total they are not to happy. Usually making below bare minimum wage. Every year the company's are taking more and the drivers are making less. I just don't understand why you would stay onboard with company's that couldn't care less about you. When are you drivers going to wake up.

Got a big unfair fine to pay Uber before I drive with them again, so at this point it's either I use the get around app or use a gig share car

There is NO WAY THAT IT CAN BE PROFITABLE TO BE RENTING A FLEET CAR FROM Hertz TO DRIVER UBER!!!! Unless, you are driving Uber Black or Lyft Lux. And, unfortunately, both tiers are not available on the rental program. People need to stop driving Uber-X or Comfort as thers is no money in driving these tiers at 1979 Taxi rates!!!!

Can any body recommend a better insurance company for uber driver. I am with progressive insurance but they charge alot of money .

Uber isn't worth driving for lyft too . The pay is garbage now uber and lyft won't be around much longer 🎉
