I never really understood why Sirius had to be so creepy, I know those years in Azkaban did a number on him, but he KNOWS Harry thinks he was the one who betrayed his parents, AND that he thinks Sirius wants to kill him, couldn't he have just said: "No it's okay, I'm not going to hurt you"?
