This is one of my hard to watch time-lapse, not for a weak stomach! Time-lapse of minced meat eaten by maggots in about 25 days.

Hey! How was your setup for this experiment? Did you do it in a special room, did you use a container for the meat?? I have to write a research paper for school about forensic entomology and I am not sure how to start this project, especially my practical project. Would be extremely helpfull if you tell me about your setup for this video!!

Those maggots were quite literally born to die

I had an open bag of meat I threw in an open bin, had my windows open and a fly managed to figure out about the little flesh treat I had laying in the bin. Safe to say there was 100s of maggots crawling around in that little plastic bag 24 hours later, fucking hell it was disgusting
