MADE IN CONNECTICUT // Pratt & Whitney
Показать описание
October, 2014
Pratt & Whitney has always been a trailblazer. The jet engine maker defied conventional wisdom with its air-cooled engine back in the 20s when its founder Frederick Rentschler believed he could create lighter, faster engines. And now…some 90 years later…the company is still true to that mission with the creation of its PurePower engine, destined to revolutionize air travel.
In October 2014, CPTV proudly premieres MADE IN CONNECTICUT. Set against the backdrop of such timely issues as outsourcing and a global economy the documentary explores modern manufacturing and the role of innovation on companies that are located – and thriving – in Connecticut.
Produced and hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Christina DeFranco, the documentary is presented as part of the MADE IN CONNECTICUT initiative, featuring stories from both CPTV and WNPR.
Made possible by Founding Sponsor KBE Building Corporation
