Kawasaki ZH2 Acceleration test 0-140mph Rocket Ship 🚀 Knox armour

Kawasaki haven’t given the ZH2 an official nickname, but with a 200hp supercharged inline 4 with more thrust than a Euro fighter, I’m labelling it a heat seeking missile!

We took it to the airfield to find out how quickly she takes flight!

The Zh2 is undoubtably the fastest bike I have ever ridden with some incredible figures here especially considering it’s a naked bike, 0-60 in 3.3, 0-100 in 5.6 and then 0-140 in 9.2 seconds. The Zh2 has so much power and in this test, it overwhelms everything, the suspension is fighting to provide enough support, the handlebars are going everywhere and you have your heart in your mouth! It is an incredible experience, not one for the feint hearted and everyone should, at least once in their life, experience the power of a Kawasaki supercharged motorcycle.

What’s more, the standing start acceleration of the bike is not even the most impressive thing about it, the in-gear performance of the ZH2 leaves pretty much everything for dead including KTM’s SuperDuke R.

And if you thought that the Zh2 is only capable of one thing, you’d be wrong.. the 1000cc inline 4 is about as flexible and easy to ride as any motorcycle engine can be, this bike is as happy at walking speed as it is warp speed!

The ZH2 has fantastic electronics, and keeps everything in check for the whole run. The bike is also fitted with a quickshifter up and down which is helps as the gear ratios are quite close and your firing through them faster than John Wick goes through bullets. The ZH2 also has launch control but we didn’t use it as at the time we were putting it up against the KTM and we couldn’t get the launch control to work and therefore turned it off on both bikes… perhaps we could have saved a few tenths with it turned on.

Other than that, save having a gorilla sat over the front wheel, I couldn’t imagine the ZH2 or any naked bike for that matter, being faster in a straight line! In summary, the ZH2 is an absolute rocket ship!

Just brought my ZH2 today. First time riding a super charge, and it’s so fast and scary. It also has cruse control. And honestly, it’s so comfortable to ride, I swear.
Stay safe, and get a ZH2, you won’t regret it.

Brocks in the USA has everything you need for this bike now (full system/Ecu) and it's not expensive.

Great video and good to see the Z H2 up there and getting the feedback it deserves. It certainly isn't the the most competitive neither does it have the best brakes or suspension but man does it make you feel good and put a massive smile on your face. I'll be doing the full review on the Z H2 2021 in the coming weeks, then have some mods to add such as the Scorpion can and Sprint filter (doing videos for those too). Will be an excellent comparison to the nakeds I have already done videos for.

I'm a 3rd generation Ducatista from a family of Roman Ducatisti (currently own a Panigale V2 Bayliss and a Moto Guzzi V7 850). Last year, my brother unexpectedly show up with this bike: poor electronic package for these days, compared to its direct rivals (but is priced far less than most of them too, to be honest) but maaan, so much fun and what a sound! Just a bit of gas and you're already thrown into the hyperspace lol. Brutal, violent, lovely Akashi beast!! 😍 😂

Perched upon one at the dealer I noted a very short reach to the handlebars. Being tall and sat so upright this maniacal device would bash my forehead at every opportunity.

Would like some in gear times to compare that overtaking punch it has over other supernakeds. Not much time testing has been done on the zh2 yet. Absolutely love my zh2. Its the bike I always choose to take out and the bike i always wish I'd took out.

Just bought my 2022 zh2 last year and I'm waiting for the snow to melt. This bike is insane and I will say I'm using the cruise control alot lol.

i put a Maxton GP shock on the back and a hyperpro steering damper on the front and fixed all the wobbling issues... its now remaped to Yes a rocket ship!

Launch control is a fair bit slower than doing it manually, but it sounds good.

0-60mph in only 3.3s & he shifted into 2nd at 55mph (which wasnt needed) def a lot more in there

straps. lowered. 4 inch swing arm extension. also a steering dampener would be a great add on. these are all supporting mods.

because the beauty of this bike is that it has a LOT more in the tank. its so restricted from the factory that it only makes about 170 wheel. however, couple of youtube channels like moore mafia and brocks performance have dyno tuned this bike and completely removed the stock limitations. with a full exhaust and air filter this bike goes from an eye blurring 170 wheel horsepower to an absolutely arm ripping 230+ wheel horsepower.

which means this bike is capable of making almost 300 crank horsepower with relatively minor modifications. which makes sense when you remember its lineage and that its descendant from the H2R. i dont think ive seen any other modern bike in its class be able to add that much power so easily. most of these bikes from the factory your be luck to get an extra 15 or 20 hp increase with the same modifications. that super charger really is a game changer as far as sheer potential for power.
