In this video, we test out Moonlight game streaming, Steam Link, Geforce Now, Xbox Game streaming, and PS Remote Play. I live in Japan, so the cloud streaming services are amazing largely because the internet here is amazing, coupled with the fact that very few people use them. I play XCloud nightly and after a few monutes you almost forget you're not playing natively, that's how solid the connection is. Thanks for testing streaming services for those of us who use them as one of our primary gaming sources.

I'm more interested in what a console can do natively. Streaming is a nice option but I get the feeling that some systems will sell a lower end console on the basis that it will play high end games when it but realy doesn't. I preffer my systems self contained. Streaming is more of an added bonus rather than a selling point to me

Damn, that 16.9 inch screen makes the device a lot larger than I thought. I thought it had like a 5 inch screen.

I love small handhelds, but I'd really like to see some new devices give the screen as much possible room and use any bezel or extra area they can. With so many of today's games you just won't be able to see things well enough on displays of this size.
(Even things like the Steam Deck or Switch Lite extra area would be great too. Having to use the magnifier to read text in certain games really isn't the best experience.)

It's an ideal device for cloud gaming, it's one of my two ideas for handheld consoles, for streaming, and then there's the console segment for AAA gaming.

In my house I use GameStream(with the Nvidia Shield) and Moonlight with everything else. But when I am out of the house, I use Steam-Link as it is easier to setup the remote connection. And then it becomes my personal cloud gaming solution.

6:18 for me only touch controls work. I can't seem to control the Playstation with my retroid pocket controller. What is different here?

Moonlight can also be used with AMD cards. There are special streamers that use the Amd GPU. The client (Moonlight) can be used with them.
