Still one of the greatest movies of all time.

Reminds me of Herb Brooks. I'm not looking for the best players. I'm looking for the right ones!

Billy Beane did change the game in the sense that analytics has become the dictating force in signing/recruiting players. The NHL has become like this in recent years as well.

It's true that numbers only tell half the story, but at times thats far more valuable than a scout giving his personal opinion on a players growth.

Beautiful. Serene. Ahead of its time. And maybe the reason the Red Sox finally won

Never thought I would enjoy this film. Then I read the "Screenplay by Aaron Sorkin" part. Now I'm hooked!

What a very good movie. The most recent movie I've seen where I felt it had that "Moneyball" feel to it is "Molly's Game." Also worth seeing.

Learn about the director's background in documentaries and you'll understand the style that this movie landed. The mixture of acting and real footage is amazing.

Fun Fact
The scout that opposed them really did have a background in baseball and hated Billy Beane and thinks he ruined the game.

Beautiful movie about America’s Pastime and a different way to look at it.

Great movie with lots of good lessons. I grew up in Oakland. It has always been a different kind of team.

Gregg Popavich has been playing Moneyball in the NBA for the last 20 years.

Sports has never been about finding the best players but more importantly the right players.

What a great movie! MONEYBALL is my 2nd favorite sports movie. HOOSIERS is my favorite (which fortunately plays for FREE on standard YouTube).

Excellent movie. My favorite part was where they talked about the three sluggers who combined for about 90 HR's, including all-star Chavez and AL MVP Tejada, or the three young pitchers almost universally recognized as the best 1-2-3 rotation in baseball that year (Zito/Hudson/Mulder), or how they replaced one of their "big three FA losses", Isringhausen, by trading for established closer Billy Koch who put up 44 saves.

You remember those parts, right?

The funniest thing is that he's still the GM

I loved this movie. The book was even better. Way more detail. I have zero interest in pro ball of any kind. That's how compelling this story of an expansive, game-changing perspective is.

It's too bad that Oakland is the farm system for the rest of the league.

I can't hear that song without thinking of Monty Oum...
Good movie, though.
