Clicked your link, bought the Knipex tool. Was glad you made this video, I would have bought the Vampliers, being familiar with those, but if the Knipex gets it done for FRM, they can get it done for this DIYer. THANK YOU!!!

The fact that the vampires teeth wear down, maybe a determining factor whether I'm gonna get them. I have these twin grips and they are phenomenal

I bought a set when I lost my main set of slip joint pliers and they’re fantastic. No struggle with tension clamps.

Let it also be known that Vamplier's "warranty" sucks. I bought a pair of their screw extractors pliers and a few years later the tip broke off. I contacted Vamplier and they refused to warranty without my original four year old receipt, which I didn't have. If you really want Vamplier pliers just get the Engineer brand. Engineer makes the exact same pliers. The Vampliers are actually rebranded Engineer. The Engineer are less expensive. Vampliers supposed advantage is the "warranty". Well I found out about their "warranty", or lack thereof. Also, those Twin Grip Knipex are fantastic. I also have a couple sets of Engineer now. You can get smaller screw extractor pliers from Engineer. I highly recommend the Engineer brand also.

Seems to me like Knipex has really figured out how to heat treat those teeth just right. They never seem to wear out.

Thank god for this review I’m an electrician but I’m working on old work and there’s so many broken screws I’ve been wondering if I should get the twin grip or vamplier. I work on smaller screws like Sheetrock screws or for plugs (6-32 screws)

I got those instead of the Vampliers. They’ve been great and are some of my go to pliers. Felt pretty badass cause I was first kid on the block to get em 😎

Kudos on the Gamers Nexus work mat. Also Knipex is pronounced with a hard K, 'K-Nipex'. It's a German brand, in Germany they say it with the hard K. Their American reps here often screw it up and say it with the silent K, but those are reps that just don't know any better (not their fault).

I have two pairs of Twin Grips, love them and use them all the time. I wish they did a slightly smaller size, they only come in one size as far as I know. I don't have any Vampliers - I was put off by the handle grip design, they look like a Transformer robot or something.

What are they like on LS manifold bolts?

I like how I get recommended this after blowing a huge wad for 12 knipex pliers

Knipex are much better, in my opinion? Their steel is oil hardened, and a better heat treatment than the Japanese made tool? Not that the Vampliers are bad, just that the gripping serrations at the tips, will wear much faster than the Knipex will?

Not to mention the Vampliers do not have a lifetime warranty. The Knipe do.
