St Louis has a wonderful free zoo. 90 acres worth in a large park called Forest Park(which is where the 1904 World's fair was held)[art museum, science center, and history museum are also in the park and are free.]

Yeah! Glad you will be doing more U.S. travel (since the $$ keeps me inside the country). I'd like to know about reasonable regional trips. What can you see within a week throughout different regions? I DO like the cruise-boat way of traveling - a day or two of the highlights in one area and then move on. But I've also taken some road trips that just covered TOO much in too short of time. I think a regional -or following a theme - travel series would be GREAT! Thanks

I read a book that described the wonderful and special houses in Charleston. I did not know anything about that city, so I had to google it. And I found pics of beautiful buildings and areas. I do not think I ever saw a movie from Charleston. Maybe you will go there one day? Videos and history from that area would be interesting. Alaska I have only seen in American humour series. So that area could also be an interesting destination? 🙋🏼🇳🇴

Hey Mark. I live in Haines, Alaska. It's one of the best small towns in America. You can do 90% of what there is to do in Alaska here or nearby. You should visit. I work in tourism here and can help you with anything you need. And trust me this would be one of the highlights to any American journey. Think about it.
