In this advanced excel tutorial I’ll show you an excellent way to rename multiple worksheets sequentially. Here goes the scenario. I have a worksheet where I have 12 worksheets. I need to rename these worksheets at once and rename them like this Week 1, Week 2, Week 3,….Week 12. Now let’s solve this problem and rename worksheets automatically in excel.

*Step 2:* Once you have the developer tab click on “Visual Basic”.
*Step 3:* Now click on “Insert” and Then “Module”.
*Step 5:* Close the vbe and then run the code from developer tab and then macro and then select and run “RenameWorksheets”.
*Step 6:* Now a new popup will open; write the base worksheet name. In our case, it is Week.

Done. Now all the worksheets are named according to our name. A sequential number is added to our base name and that becomes our worksheets name.
