Aaaah good old days. We loved these watches back in Luftwaffe. One time i lost my wingman in a dogfight flying over Britian and intrumentation on Bf-109 didn't work, so i had to use this watch to comeback home. Saved my life. What a legend. It still works like an atomic clock. :)

I've literally been waiting for this review ever since you became a Laco AD! Thanks!!

Love my Laco.I like that Laco has a bunch of sizes for different wrist sizes and Type A or Type B for each size. At 7.5inch wrist I can wear the larger sizes. I also went with a Type B dial to so it wasn’t as “boring” like mentioned in the video.

Hi Teddy. You are an amazing reviewer and I have followed you for years, marvelling and enjoying your success so far! I have bought the basic model which I know will meet the requirements of most subscribers who choose to follow you!
Please hold onto truth, integrity and those who look for those who wish to follow you through this case!

Have a Stowa Flieger like this for 12 years. The Laco is great too, a bigger company and local US support. Still a Stowa Fanboi. I own a Laco Amazonas which isn't a flieger. Nice to see this at least for me on Flieger Friday. Only difference between the Heidelberg and my Stowa is it''s 36mm and COSC certified and top level eta and sapphire caseback. One can't go wrong either way.

i really wish the pilot original 39mm would use 20mm strap.

4:10 "strip away anything that could possibly distract the pilot" — They were handed to *navigators* before the flight, not to pilots.

Lovely watch. Huge fan of fliegers. I have one in bronze and it's my favorite watch.

This watch has been on my radar (no pun intended) for a long time and can not agree with you more on this review.

Teddy, which one would you choose for you to buy? Laco or Stowa?

Laco states on their website that it comes with Sellita SW200-1. Your inventory has ETA 2824-2? Thanks!

I just hate that the buckle doesn't match the beat blasted case. If I could just get over that little thing, I would have already bought the watch

Nice watch. I just wish they'd give us a deployment clasp...I hate buckles!

@teddybaldasarrereviews 2:25 mark lists the watch as overachiever at 100 meters of water resistance. Link to site page for this timepiece lists it as having a water resistance of 5ATM. Typo in video script? "100 Ft" of water resistance instead of "100 meters"? Link to wrong watch? Site Typo? Laco's website lists it as 10 ATM as you say in video.

Heidelberg is one of the nicest cities in Germany. I believe also only city that is infused with a castle. Definitely worth checking out!

EDIT: Forgot to mention the watch, meh, very simple, and too small. 39mm is too small for my man arm. lol
