What a delightful and enlightening hour I just spent listening to both of you. I've been in the TNE FB group for a while, and also love following Diane. What's interesting about Tim's description of belief, really reminds me of the description of Abraham's faith from several places in the Bible

Born again brings me back to your podcast with “politics girl”. I once had a conversation with a “born again” from the Potters house in Australia.
It came down to the being pre disposed by God, heaven or hell. I did not finish the conversation I did not see the point as there was a blueprint I could not escape. Can you please give me your opinion?

Enjoyed this very much as a follower of Diane's. I was raised Catholic & left for 10 years to go to a Baptist church. Learned so much about the Bible but ultimately went back to Catholicism with renewed appreciation for it. As a Cdn I'm not a fan of Trump or Biden tbh. Neither strike me as honorable men so the political side of this conversation didn't engage me I'm afraid.

Pamela’s Prayer being mentioned unlocked a repressed memory for me because HOLY MOLY it’s so creepy. Even as a pre-teen raised in a independent fundamentalist cult, I ALWAYS thought the father-daughter theme was SO creepy and uncomfortable.
