Supreme Witch, Calamitas [Terraria][Calamity][Revengeance][Master][Melee]
Показать описание
See newer No-Nurse run here:
In Terraria (v1.4.3.6), when playing the Calamity Mod (v2.0.2.003) using tModLoader, the Supreme Witch, Calamitas, stands as a formidable final boss for the game. (In previous versions, she was regarded as a Super Boss and the final boss.) Since Draedon's update, she is tied with the Exo Mechs (who I find a little more difficult) for the final boss spot. Either one can be fought first, but I find Supreme Calamitas a little easier (even though I had to resort to the nurse a few times, but, hey, it is Master mode).

Strategy
I build an arena that is 159x159 blocks with the Altar of the Accursed placed in the center with some buff furniture, and similar furniture placed in all 4 corners, so the whole arena is covered. (See guide for more details.) Teleporters are placed in the 4 corners, which warp to the opposite corner. (I try to use them only for emergencies.) My spawn point is placed below the nurse, so she can heal me, and I can teleport immediately back. The need for both of these goes down with practice.
Calamitas is only vulnerable during specific phases, so loadouts could be tuned for each phase. However, I reforge all accessories to Warding to maximize defense at all times, because her attacks are so punishing. Again, with practice more offensive accessories and loadout could be used.
I also use the "map overlay" view in vulnerable phases to aim.
Most damage is applied, when she is moving vertically, parallel to you. (Rapidly press spacebar to slowly, "hop" upward.) The Dragon Pow or Zenith provide best DPS for these phases. Empyerean Knives can be used as needed for healing and homing attacks. It is important to recharge in easier phases (increase healing, Rage, Adrenaline) to prepare for difficult ones.
Rod of Discord or Normality Relocator are helpful for warping out of tough spots, the Slimy Saddle or Suspicious Looking Jelly Bean can be temporarily used for rapid descent.
Armor & Accessories (Balanced toward Defense and then Offense):
* Auric Tesla Royal Helm (Melee)
* Auric Tesla Body Armor

* Warding Asgardian Aegis (for dashing and optional N buffs)
* Warding Affliction (improves life, defense, and damage)
* Warding Rampart of Deities (for increased immunity and faster heal potions)

* Godly Murasama (alternative for Brimstone Hearts)
* Godly Dragon Pow (max DPS during vulnerable phases)
* Legendary Zenith (easier damage during vulnerable phases and brothers)
* Godly Empyrean Knives (for healing)A
All other weapons were either too inconsistent, weak, or short ranged.
Potions:
* Omega Healing Potions

* Tesla Potion
* Regeneration Potion

The Drunk Princess' candles, Sunflowers, heart lanterns, and sharpening station can all provide buffs too, while a heart statue on a 1-second timer can provided some much needed relief. A Bast statue can provide extra defense too. Other buffs, like cake, can help, but are passed over to maximize most helpful buffs in limited 22 buff+debuff slots.
