This song was about a crush he has on a girl in college and really low self esteem, he thought he wasn't enough for her because she was "too beautiful for him and out of her league" so he was always just watching her and admiring her.. one day he got a little bit tipsy to gain some confidence and confesses to her but the girl got scared because he was tipsy and so she run..
In a live performance of this song he had a panick attack because he saw her in the crown, his vocals weren't the best but you can feel the emotions and because of that, for a lot of people is one of their best performances..
