Really good and detailed review. Haven't seen even an ambivalent review of Eclipse. One thing that strikes me about 1914 is that any product/tutorials/gimmicks all seem to be produced to a good or better standard. Nothing is done in half hearted way. In short their commitment & professionalism to bring out quality magic products is second to none. Btw You've got another subscriber on the back of this review.

This was an excellent, fun and helpful review. I’ve watched a few of your videos before, but subscribed today.
I was excited to get this deck, and despite pre-ordering it, mine didn’t arrive until 9 days after it was released; so that was frustrating, given that I was so anxiously awaiting its arrival. But it’s here and it’s exactly what I thought it was goin to be. How often does that happen with new magic items?! I have four other ESP decks that are great, (and one that I purchased recently - literally only days before finding out about Eclipse), including two also made of plastic material…but I’m afraid all the others are going to be collecting dust. Eclipse beats them all.
I knew what the markings were immediately upon removing them from the box, before watching any of the videos. When I get a marked deck, I always like to see if I can find and correctly read the marks before I read or watch anything explaining the marks. This was no different and I figured it out right away. That being said, I do not think a layperson will notice any markings at all. And because of how quickly you can discern the card image from the marks, the way I can behave during performance will not telegraph that it’s a marked deck.
I had LASIK surgery a number of years ago and can see fine from distances. But as I have gotten older, I need reading glasses to see small print close up. I don’t need reading glasses for the Eclipse cards. And while I can see the marks easily from across a table, I’ve not yet been successful at reading them from more than about five feet away. Based on your comments here, though, I will keep practicing it until I get the ‘feel’ for it, and I will make sure to have the cards properly upright instead of at an angle, (that may have been where/why I had the trouble so far). So thanks for mentioning that!
I had this deck one day and had only watched three of the videos when I met a friend for dinner and brought the deck with me. I asked our waitress if she had ever seen or heard of ESP cards, briefly explained them and asked if she was interested in trying something with them. She was and, when she got a few moments during a slow period, came back and asked to “try that ESP thing”. I performed the opener Dee shows, but without the added outs. I just had the out the card provides and one other that I guessed may be another choice. I was right, so I got that hit by luck. Then I performed a routine I’d done before, (not taught on the Eclipse video), utilizing the DB. That had to have been the easiest performance of that effect I’d ever done - and I’d performed it quite a lot over the years.
Eclipse is worth every penny. And I liked the plain black box, as well. Like you said, the cards will outlast the box. I’d have paid an extra ten or twenty dollars more if it had come with a box as indestructible as the cards! Thanks for a great review. Very enjoyable and very helpful!

Terrific. Deteriorate...LMAO. Well done, sir. I wasn't in the market for new ESP cards, but the marking system may have sold me. My only question is does the lighting have a major impact on reading the marks? Excellent review, Nique.

Wish they would have included the envelopes. Its so annoying getting a product and having to order another or make one. I really love the tutorial format though wish other (and i mean every) creators would immulate it.
Do you do the routine provided Nique or do you have your own presentation? If so do you plan to share it?
