How to Size a Hockey Elbow Pad

My shoulder caps kinda flare up a bit and don't stay down and squared. When I throw a jersey on, I look more like a football player. It makes it look like I have the biggest shoulders in the world haha. Do you know what the problem could be? My pads are the Bauer VaporX 5.0 and it's a SR. Medium. For heights 5'7" to 5'11"
And chests from 38" to 42".
My chest is 37" and I'm 5"8.

i have a problem
i am near 14 years old so if i chose jr/l they will be a little too short for me and i have a little bit place between glove and shoulder pad.but if i chose sr/s :the lenght is right for me but in overall is too big for me?
what do you suggest?

What sucks is im 6'5 but skinny, so a large elbow pad is good length wise, but not tight enough. I have nexus 4000 elbows

im 5, 8 and when I measured I was in the 13-14 inch category which is a medium, but i will also fit into small, which one should I get

My biggest problem is the diameter. I need to go up to an extra large to fit the bicep and forearm comfortably. Then it's too long...
