As a non denominational person myself the reason I have always admired, and give donations to the Salvation Army, is that they are completely non discriminatory. They just help people who really need it. And they are very successful at helping people put their lives back together again. What's not to like!

I'm not religious and never will be but I always support the Salvation Army who do a great job of helping people who are in a bad place for a variety of reasons. Fortunately Toni finally got the support that she desperately needed.

God does not discriminate. We are all human. All his children.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. He gave us free will to enter this earth school and he loves us all. There is no punishment.

I did not say anything about excluding the lgbt community, infact that's my last wish as I love all people which is why I desire everyone to know Christ as only He has the answer to our needs. Yes I agree the Christian journey can be very sad and infact is the hardest road to travel on but at the same time the most joyful.

I am sad that the salvation army didn't help the lady to find Jesus, that's true freedom.

Sadly the lady felt she needed to go back to her lgbt community for support and friendship instead of seeking friends that would help her in her Christian journey. As you are a Christian you would know that journey is a sad and lost one.
