closing remarks - i joined a bot lobby to fake a high kill m&k game

Most of these kills are at distance, which isn’t hard for m+k.

The tough part is little Timmy pushing you up close while bobbing and weaving (like JoeWo’s opening clip). That’s where rotational aim assist is broken.

“Idk how I lost that!”

That’s the aim assist

You can CLEARLY see him struggle in close-range fights.
Perfecting tracking on mouse can take you years and years and you STILL will be making mistakes all the time.
Because of how unpredictable movement in this game is, you have to actively react to every jump, slide and head bop.
It takes effort and most importantly, time. Reaction time is not instant.
But with AA it's simply effortless, you can just hold a button and your crosshair literally STICKS to the opponent. You don't need to react to opponent's movement and focus on your own movement, effectively doubling your odds to win. If you both start shooting at the same time and your opponent misses once - it's gg for them.
Sometimes it just feels like you're playing against Aim Bot in close fights, not Aim Assist.

Joe's first death: "Idk how I lost that." I do lol... they had AA and you didn't.

to me the most broken part about controller is not only that it has aim assist but that you never run out of mouse pad. Specially on those ultra fast close encounters where people start jumping around at 300km/h. I have a big mouse pad but I have a wired mouse and it's still a nightmare, I slam my mouse against my kbd, the cord gets in the way, my hand ends up in the air and I find myself constantly slamming my mouse onto the desk. It gets a little frustrating

To be fair, mouse and keyboard excels at mid-long range. Close range is where controller really dominates with aim assist. Joe was losing fights up close that he normally would've won. I feel like both sides have valid points.

2:16 and 6:08 is why AA is OP, you can't win that on MNK 100% of the time. Saying it isn't is ridiculous.

The mouse and keyboard God himself (Blue) said he was going to switch to controller because Aim assist is THAT good in W2, and it was simply not worth staying in keys. The fact that not even 2mins into the video (2:18) you lose an engagement where you "should had won" and go "How did I lose that" captures literally every single complain that the M&K players talk about.

Honestly if rotational AA wasn't so strong then there wouldnt be as big of a gripe with MnK vs Controller. As someone who has played both, up close Controller/Rotational AA is a bigger advantage than long range MnK because longer range still gets some AA. Not surprising that Joe can drop 20+ on MnK since he's a fantastic player

I have over 12, 000.00 hours with M&K fps play. The only time I get slaty about aim assist is when I lose the 50/50 gun fights over and over and over again. It's obvious in most situations where it helps people win the fight and most other times I barely notice it. I usually just blame Activision for everything. It's easier. Buy stations for controller players are also OP. keys and mouse you have to run up and click the buy station. Click on your choice. Hit escape to get out of buy menu. It's awkward af and makes it a little unfair when buying but what ever. It is what it is.

At 2:18 if ur on controller, dont tell me that u wont win that simple fight. Thats the reason why we say AA is broken.

As someone who used both on WZ1 (haven’t played WZ2, take what I’m about to say with a grain of salt) K&M was always better for long range engagements. However, I mostly played rebirth and loved smgs and my movement and accuracy improved significantly up close with controller. Love both though.

As someone who switched from KBM to controller, it’s way easier to play higher ttk game modes like warzone on controller, it’s easier to track on controller, literally dropped my first nuke on controller too

Ex Keyboard and Mouse player here! Just recently made the switch to Controller after a month of playing Ranked Multiplayer/Warzone, and I must tell you, I feel waaayy more confident in taking fights with controller than when I was using MnK. I have been playing Mnk for 6 years now and I was absolutely forced to make the switch because I was constantly losing my 1's since its harder to track enemies at close range compared to controller. The thing that makes controller better is the ''Skill Ceiling''. It's more accessible and intuitive and with a Scuf you basically have all the advantages of mnk. It is also easier to get kills thanks to AA which makes tracking up close less of a chore. For this reason an average controller player for me can be compared in terms of skill to a good mouse and keyboard player. On the other hand tho, if you are really REALLY good with MnK you can compete against even the best of controller players and still beat them. Remember this is not only about Cod, but even Halo for example where, to compesate for the strenght of AA on Controller, the devs had to add Reticle Friction to mouse and keyboard! Still, anyone can make the switch like me, so if you feel like another input is better, use that one instead and stop crying about it

Check out min 4:00. this is how different mouse aiming against controllers.

The thing is, this game is 70% mental 30% physical. The best players can play on any input if you give them enough time to develop the physical.
