Depends on your physical fitness level. You can continue to wear many styles into your 60s if you're fit.

Hmmm... Another Chris Modoo thought provoking challenge. What you present is something that a young guy could carry off, but I am not so sure a gent – like me - over 50. An open neck OCBD shirt with a cashmere blazer works well. 👍An older man might want to fill the open neck with a cravat / ascot. The cashmere sweater certainly adds something to the look, as does the pocket square. So far, so good. That said, why on earth would any decent gent intentionally want to wear a 'beaten up'' (frayed?) shirt with a quality cashmere blazer? Sorry, Chris, not me. It would have to be an undamaged shirt, and ironed. Faded beaten up jeans might be okay on a young guy, but it is not such a good look on a man over 50. Given the navy blue blazer, I would instead opt for stone coloured chinos. Footwear? For a young guy, maybe waxed suede or snuff suede Chelsea boots. My choice would be brown suede, or chestnut leather, wingtip brogues. Each to his own, and at least I have given this one some constructive thought to make it work for me.
