If you play guitar and love jimi hendrix, no matter how much you study his technique you will never be able to play like jimi, only jimi knows how to play like jimi. However if you take your different influences in guitar from all your favorite guitarists. Then you can develop your own style of playing that only you will understand. Same applies to trading. Learn from the people who trade your style and influence you. And use that knowledge to develop your own style.
