Oh Lord, That's the Easter Grain Pie!!! I haven't had a slice of that in years! The last time was when we started becoming too lazy to make them and all the other dishes during the holiday, so we ordered them from the best Italian bakery in Brooklyn (at least back then when that rare animal still existed) and had them send them overnight airmail (which cost four times as much as the pies LOL). I think it's time to bring back the tradition of making them ourselves but using this recipe, though, and give it a whirl as soon as I can get someone to convert all those metric system measurements. 😩
