I think id be spending around $1500-1700 for a 1440p setup, but if i change one item it would be a 4k setup for about $2000, the thing is, im also buying a quest 3 because my quest 2 is dying so the 1440p build costs more than the 4k build without the quest 3 and the 4k build would cost alost $3000 with the quest 3

That’s all with only new parts, you can build a 1440p with mostly used parts for around the price that you would pay for a 1080p rig all brand new parts.

You can get a perfectly reliable 1440p pc for a little over a thousand you don’t have to run 200+ FPS for it to be reliable

I go with the gre because I want to have these 2tb of storage and the more capable psu

with 1k you can build a full 1440p with rx 7700gpu and pair it with ryzen 5 7600 and buy a 100dollars 32ram a msi tomhawk mobo200$ 850w for 100bucks although 650w is fine but future proof and whatever case u want this build will run any game at 1440p no problem

I spent $2100 on a 1440 p rig but that’s including monitor, keyboard and mouse, headset
