i just found this video in my recommended, and it immediately gave me warm comfy vibes, because of how reminiscent of old youtube it is. I've always had a fear of making videos Because of how highly edited they had to be, but knowing that there are people who, like me, want something more genuine, less edited, and calm, it makes me reconsider. Good job :D

I am the opposite, I have ton of ideas and things I would like to do, but not enough commitment to do them.
If I am stuck for ideas I just end up doing a walk: see what other people are doing, watch other videos to see different ways how people approach same thing: making Minecraft videos.
It's entertaining and there are bits you can learn from and things like, I wish he would have done that differently and there is seeds for ideas to do in your video.
But it does not have to be from same "town" actually it's often the best to seek inspiration and wisdom from different sources and watch or read other subjects or topics, like cars, edutainment videos, urban planning videos, whatever, it: A) let's your brain reset and relax from constantly being stuck on MC, B) Can still learn from different editing styles and presentation ways and pacing that is not present in Minecraft content, cuz it is samey C) It's just different povs and can be refreshing to learn something new or from different type of people, people who think about making 100 days of Minecraft let's plays will probably tend to make it in same or similar way to others, or at least about same Minecraft related topics, but if you say watch video about idk urban planning or Shinkanzen that might wanna make you make a project about building a cool train system or city and then you can tailor to 100 days if you choose to or not, but most important takeaway is to
find something you would be passionate to do, it can be as simple as what if I were to dig 1000 clay blocks and built a hut, that sounds like a fun idea to do and then figure out how to present it in consumable and fun way. The goal is to have fun while creating videos, and in creative process when editing, like for example learning 3d software to add funny zombie render or mini animation in video rather than trying to chase "growth" with numbers only and pleasing the audience, it's important to have fire and have fun in the making weather playing and having fun and better if also in editing too, cuz without that you will end up burning out, however if you don't think about audience and people watching and valuing their time they won't stick around either, so it is indeed important too.
Oh and doing these kind of videos where you just talk, it's important, even if they don't do well and they won't, unless you condense info or add entertaining flavor, they won't get many views, but that is not the point, the main point is to have a "virtual walk" order your thoughts, so this is kind of meditative or relaxing process and this will help you solve the problems that are on your mind.
That being said, you could cut out most boring parts or less interesting bits or long pauses, add a chill music and there is audience for this kind of content too, and it is refreshing sometimes to chill and listen to someone talk about this stuff, cuz you are not the only one with similar problems or someone use to be in similar position to where you are now, and like you said authenticity is very important, but editing doesn't necessarily eliminate it, it can enhance it, but it can drown it too, that is the art of editing, kind of like a music, if it matches the singing, it can make it sound beautiful, but it can drown it out if it is not well mixed, so being authentic and sending your message is like singing, it can be beautiful in it's own right, but adding just the right notes at right times can color it and make it a hit. It's a great story told with enticing narration supported with great visuals is what people like most, like a book that auto plays, so without good story there won't be good book or good song (unless it's picture book or just instrumental track), but to get a good story you have to obtain interesting wisdom, experience or pov, so you need to get out and read or watch or experience it somewhere, and combing other passions and seeking inspiration there is great way to get ideas or new pov for Minecraft too

It's the balance, people don't want boring slow rants that are not structured unless the topic or opinion is interesting or delivery is good, but also generic over edited videos that seem the same is bad as well
