Intel Core i5-13600K UNDERVOLT guide | Reduce temps by 15°C

This video focuses on undervolting while overclocking the Intel i5 13600K using ASRock Z790 PG Sonic motherboard but still, most of those BIOS settings could apply to a variety of models, I also test stability to make sure it's safe for long-term use, and finally, we throw some heavy CPU games at it to see the difference it makes in temps and power consumption
I hope it could be useful if you are looking to reduce your 13th gen temps

I'll be happy to hear from you and you can make video requests too

Very good tutorial! Explained in a very clear and easy to follow way. I’ve watched and read countless undervolting tutorials but nothing worked as well as this tutorial.
After some small adjustments to the voltages I got it stable at 53 P-cores, 42 E-Cores and 46 Ring. Absolutely recommend for someone trying to undervolt the 13600k!

I suggest don't do blck overclock, as they damage the motherboard component overtime. Reduce cache ratio to 38 for lower temps. Try increasing ram frequency bit by bit if you are new with ram oc. So you don't fry them out. Mine is 5.3, 4.1 at 1.21v max and lows to 1.128 at cinebench with 24, 250 at 93c, my rig is very small as xbox. Single water cooler with rtx 4080.

I use 13600K: P-5.2Ghz / E-4GHz / Ring 4.5GHz - Fixed 1.2Vcore / Hyper-Threading Off (better gaming performance+less energy consumption)

Thanks for the tutorial. I've been stuck on a no post system while trying your settings. I have the asrock z790 pro rs d4, with the 13600k and ddr4 3600 ram. I keep getting the memory led error on post, no matter what I change. I should also preface that my pcore quality is a 51 with a 61 average in bios. The system I have is custom water loop, so it was a to get to the cmos jumpers without deconstructing it.
I just updated my bios to the latest 14.01 from 9.04 because or random stability issues, primarily with my browser playing videos. I was hoping to undervolt to give this cpu a little longer life.
At this point I have set everything back to defaults, its interesting because I had a solid undervolt/oc on this system while on the 2.05 bios. I gave up on that when I updated to 9.04. Now i'm not sure if the new bios version makes your settings cause issues? any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for making this guide, I completed everything and it seems stable, but my idle temp on one core is always a lot higher than all the other, is this an issue? Everything will be low 40c and one core will be 65-75c?

Hi TECHOSAUR

Your guides are very nice, keep up the good work - i was wondering if you could do a video guide for optimizing ur CPU on a B-chipset?

Or maybe help me, i have AsRock B760 Steel Legend mATX and a 13600k. And i really want to just find out if it is possible to optimize it so that it can take full load without throttling immedietly?

Maybe set all core boost and undervolt for stable performance and better temps. No matter what test i run at stock, it skyrockets to 100C and throttles and i dont know how to do on B760 motherboard - hope you can help.

You were GPU limited on all the gaming tests you did

I have a 14900k, and it's pulling 1.4v in stock setting, and It's not even running stable, i have to set vcore compensation to level 1 to be stable. But when i do this, it runs at 1.5v when playing a game. Do you have any tips, i am not really finding help while searching.

I have a AG400 and not wish upgrade for watercooler (hate watercoolers), but plan buy a i5-13600K and undeclocking and undervolting it in P-Cores and E-Cores

dude, thats what i was looking for, mine 13600k sits on z690 tuf, for some reason i cant set it to drop voltages to below 1v during idle, do u know what setting is responsible for that?

Hello friend, I saw your video and thank you for your effort. Do you have a video for asus motherboards and 0x104 bios?

ive got the 13600k paired with asrock steel legend z690, its pretty much the same interface as the sonic mobo in bios, i was wondering if i can just follow this step by step and be ok? ive literally no experience with under/over-clocking. Thanks!!
