Alternative Ua Perm Back (R U R’ U) R’ U’ (R2 U’ R’) U (R’ U R) (also make sure you can do U with a drag to avoid a regrip at the end).
-Note the start of the counterclockwise U Perm from the front can be started without a regrip.

I've been doing U perms for years, and I find it really strange to use left finger in U(a) perm. I use right index finger. If it's really faster, I guess I'll have to learn it.

Is it faster to start the R2 U ub perm with your middle finger in front?(you only need to remover right hand from cube once, not twice.

For beginners, can use r u r'u'then l'u'l u and then reverse the r u r'u' then l'u'l u after so make sure you are holding already solved side towards your face

i just invented an algorithm for this today, hold the solved side towards you, for example, if red is solved, and you have blue with an orange edge piece on your left and green with a blue edge piece on the right, you do (L’, U’, L, U, R, U, R’, U2, L’, U, L, U, R, U’, R’)

Aren’t M slice algs for U perms faster as there r no regrips?
I switched from RU based algs to M slice ones as i saw j perm doing M algs in one of his more recent vids I guess.
