Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, though in high stakes champions league matches, the referee mistakes are always on their side, kinda bizzare...

Hey guys ! When you play against Real Madrid, you must expect such things coming the referees. It's not the fist time that it happens.

Wrong analysis... This angle isn´t really the offside angle VAR is checking and Mazraoui is offside with his knee actually by looking at the real angle VAR is taking. Due to the fact that Mazraoui is interefering in the game it is called passive offside so it can be whistled of course. Due to the fact the referee whistled the goalkeeper from Madrid stopped playing. The goal is not allowed which is the right decision.

Not my opinion. Mazraui's knee was offside.

For my analysis both Bayern players was offside, but let`s say Mazraoui wasn`t, still De Ligt move his body toward the ball and affecting the Real defenders and affecting the play so it doesn`t really matters if he didn`t touch the ball it`s till offside. It`s really school book offside, learn the rules. I hate Real Madrid but still it was offside, and a huge mistake by the reff not to let the play continue and than let the VAR decide if it was offside or not.

Get lost, I'm not a Real Madrid fan and At first, I thought Mendy was the one who passed the ball to de ligt. But If it's Mazzraoui THAT'S A CLEAR OFFSIDE!! He was in front of Rüdiger too Before the ball was crossed !

According to offside the attacker has to be behind the last defender so looking at the first image it’s not offside so it’s not offside

1. Offside position

It is not an offence to be in an offside position.

A player is in an offside position if:
any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and
any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent
The hands and arms of all players, including the goalkeepers, are not considered. For the purposes of determining offside, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit.

A player is not in an offside position if level with the:
second-last opponent or
last two opponents
2. Offside offence

A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:
interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate or
interfering with an opponent by:
preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or
challenging an opponent for the ball or
clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or
making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball
*The first point of contact of the 'play' or 'touch' of the ball should be used

or
gaining an advantage by playing the ball or interfering with an opponent when it has:
rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent
been deliberately saved by any opponent
A player in an offside position receiving the ball from an opponent who deliberately played* the ball, including by deliberate handball, is not considered to have gained an advantage, unless it was a deliberate save by any opponent.

*‘Deliberate play’ (excluding deliberate handball) is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of:

passing the ball to a team-mate;
gaining possession of the ball; or
clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it)
If the pass, attempt to gain possession or clearance by the player in control of the ball is inaccurate or unsuccessful, this does not negate the fact that the player ‘deliberately played’ the ball.

The following criteria should be used, as appropriate, as indicators that a player was in control of the ball and, as a result, can be considered to have ‘deliberately played’ the ball:

The ball travelled from distance and the player had a clear view of it
The ball was not moving quickly
The direction of the ball was not unexpected
The player had time to coordinate their body movement, i.e. it was not a case of instinctive stretching or jumping, or a movement that achieved limited
contact/control
A ball moving on the ground is easier to play than a ball in the air
A ‘save’ is when a player stops, or attempts to stop, a ball which is going into or very close to the goal with any part of the body except the hands/arms (unless the goalkeeper within the penalty area).

In situations where:

a player moving from, or standing in, an offside position is in the way of an opponent and interferes with the movement of the opponent towards the ball this is an offside offence if it impacts on the ability of the opponent to play or challenge for the ball; if the player moves into the way of an opponent and impedes the opponent's progress (e.g blocks the opponent) the offence should be penalised under Law 12
a player in an offside position is moving towards the ball with the intention of playing the ball and is fouled before playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the foul is penalised as it has occurred before the offside offence
an offence is committed against a player in an offside position who is already playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the offside offence is penalised as it has occurred before the foul challenge
It'is clear offside

It's offside because ... Although Mazraoui was onside but De Ligt was offside and he created a challenge which caused an interference., ..So by rule's it's offside

The offside line you got there is totally wrong 😂😂 you have no idea what offside is and you go ahead and make a video out of it

Not a goal the whistle is already blow before the ball goes in and the players paused

The thing is, the player who touched it after the pass wasnt even mazraoui, if u look closely it was mendy who touched the ball (real madrid player), and the first bayern player who touched it was muller who was clearly not offside

KrintAm

actually, it hitted Mendy’s head, so basically it wasnt offside 🤷‍♂️

The header pass back was not from Nasser but from Real Madrid player Mendi number 23. The pass was to Nasser he was onsite and never touches de ball. What a massive error this was.

You could clearly see that the ball went to both players’ direction and De Ligt who was offside had to change direction because the ball went over his head. So… with VAR, it would still be an offside and Lunin clearly didn’t go for the ball because he heard the whistle

The officials should be banned from officiating UCL matches. Its rubbish to say the least. When a player is clearly offside, they allow the ball to run for a while before blowing the whistle. Poor officiating.

But De Ligt was NOT in passive offside, he was an active participant in this episode.

whether real players stopped playing after the whistle or not, bayern players still hand the chance to make something out of it if the play was still on , madrid fans are too overconfidently sure their players will defend, i doubt it after what alphonso davies just did to rudier

The same referee in this game last night ruled against a penalty for Aletico Madrid in favour of Real Madrid in a penalty shoot out!!! Surely he’s been paid off!?

If the referee hadn't blown the whistle, the RMD players wouldn't have stopped. I am sorry, but all judges are calling this a foul, but in fact, the RMD players stopped all at once and byern scored against static objects
