So my ' try something new' is I've started taking my year old Labrador -Oswald- with me on the trails.. we're doing 6 miles single track XC riding first thing on a Saturday morning and there's something amazing about a dog running alongside you while your hacking through the forest.. giving me the enthusiasm to get out in the rainy mornings and walking the dog at the same time no greater feeling in the world. Truly man's best friend

I have tried something new and pick up a hard tail mtb, I have been watching a load of your videos that has hopefully helped me make the right choice for my first bike. I have found that there is a lot of good trails not far from me and I cannot wait to get on them. I have found the videos on maintaining a bike really interesting, I have learnt a lot from them. I'm an Enduro rider and talking about trying something new... I signed up for a cross-country race and I got 1st place! It was a great feeling because I never raced anything and I always wondered if I had what it takes to race against hundreds of people. And doing that on a hardtail instead of my enduro bike was weirdly good.

As it happens I'm trying something new this weekend! I just got a New Trail/Enduro bike (2018 Trek remedy 8) with updated geometry, 160mm of travel and my first dropper post, before I was on an old school 29er XC bike with no dropper and 71 deg head tube! Can't wait!

I’ve always raced fat bikes on snow. I’ve strangely never ridden my Borealis on the trails until this week. I rode it on some easy trails and dirt jumps. It was AMAZING!!! If you’ve never ridden a fat bike, you need to try it

My new thing is a Cannondale Slate and I love it. It's like 1989/1990 all over again. Gravel roads are fun and if it gets a bit techno is insanely techno on a gravel bike.

Commuted this morning in - 15C with a lot of show in the middle of a snowfall warning. Ride a fat bike in Canada that way you do not get the WTF looks they are everywhere all year long.

something built my first trail this week and found it to be highly addictive, its a great wee addition to whats already there in local woods and taken me alone less then ten hours so far, I have a funny feeling there will be another line or two added soon as I'm already planning another.

Took my cyclocross into the woods, then ran(hiked) a few tops with great view. Didn't meet so many people, but definitely worth it!

I tried looking at sessioning as a mindset. I found flat boulders to punch up onto then drop off immediately the other side. There is an old cabin with logs scattered and they made for nice stacking and technique problems to solve.
