The Infinite Attack Starvation Combo

Showcasing an incredibly obscure and complicated infinite attack loop in Inscryption that I missed last time.

There’s one in act two that’s VERY easy. In the fight against Grimora, after phase one, she “kills” all of your cards on the field and gives them back as “zombies.” If you have an Oroboros out, you’ll get a zombified Oroboros. You can place the card for no cost, destroy it with the hammer and repeat to boost your actual Oroboros.

In case you're wondering how you could make this in a real run: get 3 molemen, give each of them 1 of the necessary sigils, then fuse them at the Mycologist enncounter. The odds of getting all the right encounters before a run ends is probably very low.

This is also able to be done (albeit much more slowly) with a skink that has unkillable and mighty leap and a bullfrog that has airborne and unkillable. While stalling, you can spawn three tail cards by letting the skink get hit and then fill your board with tails, sacrificing one to play the bullfrog, and then putting the tail back down. This can be done much more consistently as the reptile totem can be used to give both cards unkillable, so the strat only requires one copy of each card during the run as long as you get the totem.

You could also use a flying mirror tentacle, making it so that you don’t need a specific item for this to work

The PO3 fight in the pixel world has an easy infinite loop too. If you juice an Oroboros a bit so PO3 makes 4 copies of the card, make sure its in the far right lane, and have one rotated over to you, youll have two Oroboros that kill the other two. The ones you kill on PO3's field return to your hand instead of his, and every time you sacrifice ANY of them, ALL of their attacks go up. Combine with a sacrifice engine as simple as an unbuffed black cat so you don't run out of blood resources, and you can mill into an absurd amount of attack power very quickly.

That's insane...
Albeit almost impossible to create since the combination of Sigils are unlikely to occur.
You might be able to get close using Death Cards.

You can use the Morsel mirror tentacle, you can take the damage as well

you could porbably ditch the need for a hook by having the tentacle card that increses damage based on number of times the bell is rung, no? probably worth giving it the flying sigil as well

With an infinite supply of bleach paint you could also use the hodag to get an infinite amount of damage here.

In other news you can do a similar thing in Act 3 if you craft a card with the following:

Mighty Leap
Sharp Quills
Unkillable
Touch Of Death
Less than 6 cost (you gotta play some random 1 ATK card later on lol)

Exxo on Act II against Grimora, if you have ouroboros on the board by the time you beat stage one of her, she will kill it and you will get your original ouroboros back and also a free dead one, but the thing is when the 'alive' ouroboros dies it buffs the dead one, and you can infinitely place the dead one because it is free and just kill it using the hammer.
