Most Underrated Amp Modeling Pedal? The Awesome Boss IR-200

#bosspedals #ir-200 #ampmodeler - Last night I went wild playing my telecaster through a Boss IR-200 - an outstanding amp modeler with superb impulse responses and excellent onboard reverb choices. The truth is, you could gig with this pedal and maybe a boost and delay. It's a great platform for minimalist pedalboards.

Great playing and great tones! I am a hobbyist just getting into recording and I love my IR-200. It solved a lot of my recording logistics issues compared to miking my amp and cab. Especially for the bass parts - the IR-200 bass amps and cabs are versatile and sound great. There aren’t a lot of great videos yet sampling the IR-200 sounds, so I am glad you made this and I hope you make more!

@tonyleeglenn I have a question? Are you running directly from the Boss IR200 output to your interface hi-z input or are you connecting it through the usb port? The reason I’m asking is, I have been able to get any sound through my daw & monitors from the Boss IR-200. But when I connect my other modelers no problem in getting sound through my monitors? No luck on forums, Any thoughts? Thx

Great playing and tone, Tony! I'm close to ordering one of these. But I haven't found a review that covered the IR-200's parametric equalizer. On the Boss GP-10 that I own, the frequency selection on the parametric EQ is very disappointing. This is because the frequency there can only be changed in one-third octave steps (e.g. 1 kHz, 1.25 kHz, 1.6 kHz, 2 kHz, etc). This is much too coarse, e.g. to reduce resonances. Can the frequencies be adjusted finer with the IR-200.
