I still don't understand why Blizzard refused to do something as simple as adding a taunt and an instant attack to Paladins until TBC. I mean Crusader Strike was even in the game already, the Scarlet Crusade mobs use it against you, and iirc Paladin players had Crusader Strike during beta. I have heard they finished Paladin last and ran out of time before launch, but still, these fixes were so simple that I don't really buy that they couldn't squeeze that in until next expansion. Because it became clear very early that Ret and especially Prot was not considered viable for endgame content. *Well, better 18 years late than never, I guess! :D*

Never forget the WotLK pre-patch when any paladin in greens was a 1 man army capable of solo wiping a WSG lobby. They deserved a decade more of pain to repent. lol
