My wife just bought it for $5 at Family Dollar. I didn't use the tape. I used the tacks on the outside wood trim. I also didn't let the bottom drag on the porch floor. I have to say at this point it works perfectly.

I LOVE the Magic Mesh screen door!!! I installed it on my back door (had to make a few adjustments because the door was smaller than normal). My door frame is metal, so I used a little glue in places. I have been using this same screen door for 7 YEARS! Yes, it's time to replace it now. My dog and cat love it.

If you have a space that doesn't close just hot glue a couple of 2mm magnets to it. I have used 3 of these every year for 5 years. As long as you take a little time to set it up they work great. I didn't know they were a TV item. I got them from Amazon. If you have corronwood trees or large fluffy seed problem this also keeps those seeds out.

My mom has them at her house and they work nice so I decided to get one for my own house so my German shepherd can go out the back door whenever during the summer. But it became a spider nest so I had to toss it lol

Bought 1 couple years ago and I know the humidity here in Mississippi wasn't good for the adhesives, so I used a stapler, worked for bit, and that didn't take off any of the paint, cause I ended up having the same problem, and the staples did work, but the screen after a short time just couldn't handle the usage. It's definitely not as good as having an actual screen door, my opinion 😁

Oh great! So I have the old, not as good version. I got this a few years ago as I need to replace the screen door on my patio door and thought this might be a more convenient and cheaper alternative. Just I’m not going out back as often as I used to, so it’s never been installed. Well now I have a better idea of what I bought, before it was improved.

Ive always seen this product and wondered how well it actually worked and now i know! I did love hearing the magnets click together lol thats super annoying it took the paint off when you removed it from your front door. Thanks for reviewing this!

All I can say is a couple of my family members have them and no complaints I'm about to try them out, but we have to remind our selves that this is something that is cheaper than buying a real screen door so if it doesn't work just buy the real deal

What a coincidence! I just got done hanging up our screen door today as we had 70s here in Ohio today. :) We have the iGotTech screen door from Amazon and this is the second one we have had. The first one lasted 3 years. It probably would have lasted longer, but we did some heavy duty remodeling on the bathroom 2 years ago and it had holes ripped in it from carrying lumber and stuff in and out. The one we currently have is now on year 2 and is in almost new shape except for a couple small holes in the bottom where the dog's nails walked on it because it is also a little long. Apparently our sliding glass door is a little bigger, as the screen is 34"x 82" and it fits the opening perfectly. Another thing I like about this one is they send you a roll of velcro to put on the wall instead of the pieces. It does take some adjusting to make sure the magnets close all the time. Our dogs have no problem going in and out--they got the idea of just being able to walk through it immediately. We just love it!

I got this as one of my mom’s birthday gifts, but it was too short for our sliding glass door. She let me have it so I put it on my bedroom door which faces outside, but it was too big! I got it to fit though, I had to fold and thumbtack some of the corners, but it works pretty well! Now I can keep my door open and not worry about bugs :) I had to teach my dog how to walk through it haha.Tbh if I had seen your video before I purchased this I would’ve gotten her a different gift! Im on the east coast and in the fall i love keeping the windows open. I used this on one of the sliders so the dogs could run in and out without any help from me. If I remember right, it worked good for a couple of weeks then started falling apart. This was in 2016'ish

Louisville guy here. I had the original. Put it up and got ready to take my food out to the grill. Straight through the mesh and it snagged on the bottom and I went tumbling along with the food. Tore it down and would never do this one again. Great review guys. I always enjoy your vids!

Perfect for homes with kids and birds. I agree it’s not the best looking but it works for me. It clearly says to not let it drag on the bottom as it will not work properly.

Thought that little tone when Cathy gave the Well, Maybe sideways thumb said a lot too.
Those tacks kinda reminded me of upholstery tacks. Don't think they would work very well on RV Sheet Metal. Would need to affix from the interior, I'm thinking.
