I will say this, they are NOT domesticated. Even if it never attacks its owner, living like a domestic housecat is not the best life for them. They will be much happier and healthier in either the wild or a zoo/sanctuary with a proper full enclosure for them. This goes for any wild animal that's part of the exotic pet trade.

Very cute indeed, but remember, they still have a lot of wildness in them. One escaped from its home and attacked a mother & child on the sidewalk.

I've been blessed enough to volunteer at a big cat sanctuary that had 2 of these stuffed and oh boy they were a handful.
I stayed outside the fence and watched while the more experienced handler's interacted with them.
The hissing at everything and everyone first and everything else second always threw me off.
It was the first time I had ever heard of hissing being a form of saying "happy to see you food bringer".
I still have all my fingers and toes so it's all good.😂

They are not "just like regular cats". These are wild animals. The "pet" trade is ignoring the very important aspect of domestication. These animals WILL attack you. They WILL cause major damage.

It's important to notice, as well, that the adults in this short are thick. They are being overfed. Usually, these animals will be running, chasing, hunting for days on end. Up trees, through rivers. Here, they are treated like glorified house cats. They aren't in their natural environment. They aren't being treated well.

Do not support these types of practices. It is extremely harmful to the species.

They are absolutely gorgeous but having a fullsized murder machine in the house while we entertain friends with smaller kids than furry murdermittens is a scary thought
