About the Noodles:

Nissin RAOH is the first brand of restaurant quality ramen available in the US.

Nissin RAOH makes it easy for anyone to make authentic restaurant-quality Japanese ramen at home. Unlike existing instant noodle soups, which tend to have flavors like chicken, beef, shrimp, etc. RAOH Umami Soy Sauce, RAOH Umami Miso, and RAOH Umami Tonkotsu are all authentic Japanese ramens from different regions of Japan.

Tonkotsu is a style of ramen from Kyushu (southern Japan) and is the most popular flavor of ramen in both Japan and the US. RAOH Umami Tonkotsu features many layers of flavors, including onion, garlic and ginger making the soup rich and robust.

My absolute favorite and closest to the real tonkotsu that you'll get at the japanese restaurant. It's so hard to find, but my local WM now carries it

I know I described the flavor as a really flavorful chicken noodle soup, but Tonkotsu literally translates to "pork bone" (豚骨) - so that might be your impression of the flavor!

The same brand also makes a miso flavor that's pretty good; my favorite is still the tonkotsu. All my local Krogers are out (I went to 4 different ones lol) but I found some in the Asian market and stocked up! I would put green onions instead of parsley though to be more like the real thing :)

It's alright, but I think Nongshim makes much better ramen.
This tonkatsu tastes good but it smells kind of gross
