I was living in a hostel in singapore with few students from infonesia, malaysia, china and korea. Knowing that we came from indonesia, one korean friend one day visited me in my room bringing some packages of shin ramyeon. Then, like in those drug transaction scenes in gangster movies, he put all those ramyeons on my desk. "I know you brought some indomies from indonesia. Heres the deal. I'll give you 2 packages of ramyeon for each package of your indomie. Deal?"
I said, "ok". Then he came out happily with some indomies in his hands. 😀

I’m born in Singapore and honestly. Your standards are not low. The laksa instant noodles you had is one of the most expensive instant noodles in Singapore. So relax. You guys have good taste. Haha

i’ve never had indomie in my life and i’ve been thinking about this video and the way they described it. the fact that they called it crack has been haunting me for months now. my local asian store kind of rotates their instant noodles so i couldn’t find indomie at first, and then when i did it wasn’t mi goreng but now ladies and gents i’m eating mi goreng as i write this and it’s a religious experience?? i’m addicted?? indomie you’ve ruined me.

Indomie is a curse thingy. When your plan is just buy 1 pack and tries it you will buy 10 pack more

Ollie's choice of words are always brilliant and metaphors that he uses are always unexpectedly spot on.

The most apt definition of Mie Goreng, EVER:
"This is like crack."
Damn, now I want some.

8:35 I love how josh immediately spoke Chinese word “HuaJiao.” I can hear the accent. 🥰

Josh can speak little bit of Chinese, fluent in Korean.

As a Malaysian, I personally really likes vermicelli 😂 it’s a very fine noodle made of ground rice and it’s very common to find that in Asian cooking.

You're right about Indomie - I lived off them at uni in Australia - a box of 36 packs was less than 8 packs of crappy Maggi noodles. If you're feeling rich, throw in some spring onions too. That said, these days (some two decades later) I still eat Indomie - but I get the Hot and Spicy - it has a better flavour... and it's hot and spicy!
