What Plugins are in a Grammy Winning Mastering Chain Ft. Jordan 'DJ Swivel' Young

Have you ever wondered what plugins are in a Grammy Winner's mastering chain?

Well, Jordan, DJ Swivel, Young is a Grammy Award winning music producer, mixer, audio engineer and DJ and he zoomed in to let us know!

While Swivel is probably best known for being Beyoncé's personal recording engineer, Jordan's list of credits is enough to make anyone take notice. From hip hop titans like Jay-z and Kanye West to multi-platinum EDM stars like The Chain Smokers and more recently the global phenomenon BTS have all gone to Jordan more than once.

His list of job titles recently got a new addition when he released his first VST Plugin called "The Sauce" which has been incredibly popular with our community on Plugin Boutique.

The Sauce is a collection of audio processors mean for vocals. It is essentially Jordan's vocal processing chain baked into one plugin.

I'm got to check it out before it's release back at NAMM and I've done a hands-on tutorial for our channel too.

Seeing and hearing how well The Sauce processes vocals, I had to ask Jordan what he uses on his mastering chain and this is what he had to say.
