OK so here's something I've found about generational players. If you scout them and make them look bad, as the game tries to do, it can backfire on the CPU and not make them take that player. I always scout generational players because the game will pass on them, thinking that they aren't great, and let you take them. Even though you know they will be 99, you can do it to keep other teams from getting them. I've done this and picked up guys at up to 16th because the CPU forgets they are generational and just sees the fake potential rating it gives you.

Hiring and firing coaches is important for player development. I feel like you could’ve gotten more out of season 2 especially with it’s development focus approach but I enjoyed this video a lot I learned a lot about this game that I didn’t know for example ik a “star” indicates “all-star” but I thought it just meant “star-player” type
