High Elo Legends #2

High Elo Legends is a new series where I cast notably messy high level AoE2 games featuring players you may not be familiar with. There's a lot of great games for people to enjoy and quite a few players that deserve the limelight. This game is a great example of that!

Dude that Cata switch was 1000 IQ, such a small window to hit and he nailed it... He already had safe castles and once he got into the eco with them and pushed him back it was over. The 4.4k relic gold was also huge.

Lunar sale on steam, this game is only 6 bucks. Ive been a subscriber to T90 forever now and I am finally going to play the game. Love the content. I was a huge fan of the series and remember when the first game came out. Think I am going to try my luck at ranked... after a bit of practice first.

Besides not building any castles and letting Byzantines take so much map control with his own castles, I think Monoz should have went Siege Ram over BBC in this situation since Blue had no response to that. Siege ram would soak up so much skirm fire and halbs would be so exposed to the arb fire if they tried to take them out. I think it would have won him the game. Of course if he had castles then trebs would have done alright as well.

Shoulda made some onagers to go with the arbs, really helps counter the skirm mass from byz. All those byz castles and 5 relics was going to be an uphill struggle to win.

pretty good game really enjoyed to watch. actually manoz were taking engagements better than the turkish guy, he lost good numbers on bad engagement timing but it was not a big difference.
