Compared to where Tech basketball has been the last few years, I would be ecstatic with a tourney birth and one win in the big dance. I just want to see us finish in the top half of the Big 12. I think Tubby can get us there.

Condition to my statement. I am a badger fan: He is a solid recruiter and a bad developer of talent. He hasnt changed and the game of college bbal has. He will fail at Tex. tech i predict. I hope I am wrong for you Tech fans, but do not expect much more than a tourney birth and perhaps a trip to the field of 32

Bob Knight couldn't bring a championship to Lubbock why would anybody think Tubby Smith who couldn't consistently win at Kentucky will do anything with Tech. However maybe they couldn't get anyone else to take the job. it is however a football college not a basketball school.
