I love how she looks so motherly and couldn't even hurt a fly but when she fight she became totally badass. Nicole Kidman is truly one talented actress!

Nicole is wickedly good at acting. She can portray literally any person she takes on. From singing as a french burlesque dancer to being an evil mother, to a dainty new australian tourist. And now. A queen of the oceans. What. A. Boss.

I love how Atlanna went from a loving mother telling her son a story to a bad-ass mother protecting him. I hope she will be in the sequel.

I remember being in the cinema and thinking about how I was so disappointed with so many of the other DCEU movies that I was just hoping this movie would be good. After watching this scene I sat back in my chair relaxed and strapped myself in for the ride. Still my favourite DCEU movie to this day. I just loved the fact that this movie knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything else.
