The way it was her house at the end wraps up the story so perfectly 😭

I'm actually surprised we didn't see this guy in the obituaries. Her restraint in NOT killing him there and then is amazing.

I'd say he's treating her like she's his mom, but I didn't even act this way with my actual mom when I was an actual child 😭

It was 100% about control and seeing if he could steamroll her boundaries and still control her

I was hoping for weaponized incompetence... but then the word "duty, " came out his mouth. XP. Oof

Hearing "leftovers" and saying "coconut shrimp" is an underrated improv choice.

As a guy who has never been in a relationship, it's so crazy to see guys ending relationships by being so immature and awful in ways that are just baffling like this. I mean, it doesn't make sense to me, and I'm not that emotionally intelligent! Shouldn't it just require being a decent and respectful person? So many dudes are just unbelievable.

Edit: thanks for the encouraging comments ☺️

I mean who does that in their 30s? Soon to be single people, that's who.

There was FOOD in the FRIDGE. Like, she already went and made him food to have later. What the hell

Honestly, the fact that at 31 years old he doesn't know how to cook something for his damn self... If he has the energy to go upstairs and get angry at his gf to tell her to make him something, he has the energy to make himself something his damn self.

Macs reenactment was exactly the vibe I was imagining it as, as well. No wonder Angelas mind kept re-casting him as being drunk. It's really hard to view a fully grown human (in sound mind) acting like that!

My husband did this to me when I had two young children to look after who usually got up at 6am. He became my ex husband not long after this!

When I was a grade schooler, I didn't wake my parents in the middle of the night when I got hungry. I either slept on or headed down stairs for leftovers or cereal.

I don't get why some people don't like leftovers. Would you prefer to throw away perfectly good food?

I'm pretty sure I had heard or read this one before, but it's still wild hearing it again! The entitlement!

And that's why I teach my boys how to cook for themselves. My mom taught me (male) how to cook and it's served me well most of my life. I do a lot of the cooking in our house and enjoy teaching my boys how to as well.

bro i had an ex like this, who couldnt cook for shit, and i work nights while he worked mornings, and he used to wake me up as soon as he gets home which is around the time where im still asleep (i have to be, bc again graveyard shift), demanding to make him food, and if i dont he'll trash the place - or just get tantrums so ill end up still doing it. For context, this was also during the Pandemic so we were on lockdown, so i was stuck with him until lockdown got released, and when it did, i made him leave the same day lockdown stopped, didn't look back, but holy hell, that guy was something else...
