What is a Latent Space? #shorts

Have you heard somebody mention the latent space of a machine learning model, but you're not clear on what that means? Here's a light-speed introduction with a small example based on tabular data.

As far as I understand you got most right but latent space isn't dependent on neural networks. It's just a lower dimensional representation of a higher-dimensional conceptual thing... Which in itself is confusing

Does higher dimension raw data refer to input data?
