A great week in Kalamata!
Last summer I spent a week in Kalamata (Peloponnesos, Greece) with my family-in-law. We found out that Kalamata is a fantastic holiday destination, especially for those who don't like touristic destinations.
We stayed at a great appartment, near Kalamata, and had access to the swimming pool for 24/7 and could easily use the BBQ. Villavia Appartments is worth checking out.
The water of the Polylimnio waterfalls was outstanding, despite the temperature of the water. At first it was very cold, but after a couple of minutes it was fine to swim in it. The blue colour of the water was something extraordinary.
The Vlychada Caves were beautiful, even as Kalamata seen from the air. We loved our paragliding adventures, thanks to Nassos and Petros! Fantastic people and a great team together! Paraglding with them is a absoulute must when you visit Kalamata.
Last but not least our diving experience. We even had the change to take the steeringwheel and the cruise on the water. Despite the cold water, we were able to enjoy our dive.
