Holly Waddington spent most of her career as an assistant costume designers for others. Poor Things is one of four movies that she did in the lead for costume design. As much as i would've loved for Barbie to win, Poor Things' costume was truly brilliant and it's a quite well deserved win

just like it’s production design loss, barbie’s costume loss makes sense. we all tend to forget that they were not in barbieland for a lot of the movie. the real world really wasnt designed too well.

While Barbie's costumes are okay, they only replicate some of the costumes I use on Barbie toys, but the originality of Poor Things and the costumes worn by Bella Baxter and other characters are amazing.

For me, i was expecting that the rightful winner was "Killers of the flower moon", but after watching "Poor Things", i was absolutely impressed for the costume that reminded me a little from the style of "Crimson Peak"

not to sound like a fanboy but Barbie should have won here, the work Jacqueline Durran and co. did by creating all those outfits for all the Barbies and Kens giving them their own personality and identity was simply amazing
