I have two feral cats that were born under my shed . The mother left and never returned once they were weened. I didn't want them to starve so I would put food out for them and they grew up in my back yard. One of them began following us around and wanted to be part of the family. She started coming in the house and was quite comfortable there. This went on for several years . She even slept in our beds and would only go outside long enough to potty. The other one remained a wild child and did not like to come inside. We finally coaxed her in in the cold of winter, but at day break she was ready to go back out.
Recently thought, without incident, the other one has returned to the the outdoor world and will not come in. This has left us very puzzled and missing her .

My 14 year old cat did all of these things with my husband when he was alive. Now that he has died, the cat has shifted these behaviors over to me. I have long suspected my cat considers me to be just a big, but still subordinate, cat.

My Billy Cat nearly always comes to me and pulls on my clothing. Sometimes, he wants to go outside, and other times he want me in the kitchen with him when he eats. Love my Billy Cat!

Oh boy does my cat bring me things! Last week I had a house cleaner in for the first time and things were going very well until she went to vacuum next to the couch where I always sit which is about 4 inches from a wall. Suddenly I hear a cry of "" Oh no! Oh my God!" and then " Oh, the smell! The smell! ". This is as I'm grabbing my cane and hobbling over to see what on Earth is going on. Well, she vacuumed up a bird - a very, very dead bird that had become one with the floor. Now it was halfway inside her vacuum cleaner nozzle. I grabbed the vacuum cleaner and pulled the bird out and after I took care of the bird I went back and pulled the couch out and cleaned the floor with a wet towel. I apologized so many times and told her if she was too upset she could just go home but she put the vacuum cleaner outside, and finished mopping the floor in that room. We gave her a good 'bird' tip. So yes, my cat brings me things.

My girl sleeps on my lap in her shift, then my boy takes over and when she’s sleeping on my lap, her brother hunkers down beside me to snooze. Both have to be touching me. For instance my girl likes to rest a paw on my arm if I’m sitting upright on he couch, when my boy snoozes beside me he rests touching me being big and heavier he presses against me. Then they separate. My girl in her couch corner and her brother in the cat bed beside the couch. If I take a nap on the couch, my two are on or next to me.

I have a rescue cat. So much different from my boy who was euthanised last year, some behaviours mentioned here we are good with, but i love her to bits anyway.
