Hosted sessions should not cost money on a sim that has a monthly fee and all the content is paid. This is why all the leagues are on acc

With the amount of options to go through to host 1 session. Why can't we have an option to save the server settings for people/leagues who host different car class servers (practice/race) often? Practice only servers should also allow drivers to switch cars within the same server. I also feel a big opportunity is being missed at the Nordschleife Tourist Track for "Track Day" servers. Being able to switch cars and having more than 2 pit stalls available would be a great server configuration. Most Sims I've played in the past have "Track Day" servers running 24/7. Please?

We just gonna ignore the fact there's $400 in that accounts wallet

Why can't we set up a rolling session? In other words, set it up such that it has 10 mins qualify followed by 15 min race, followed by 10 min qualify, followed by race, etc... This would help attract and keep racers on random hosted events as you could get in and stay in the same session. I'd love to do this say, over a 2 hour time-frame so could get in, stay in, and have multiple races. Also should be able to load a new track on the fly but yeah, I know iRacing is way behind about every other game in existence that way. :(

The fact it costs money to host a race on a monthly subscription based sim is wrong lmao

The FAQ link is dead. Does the owner of the hosted session or any of the appointed admins need to be logged into iRacing and the hosted session for it to go live or it will go live regardless?

For hosted sessions just use the dollars u earn from the season prior…..

At least give us the option to host the race on our own hardware or something. I’m not excited about paying extra just to race against my friends.

Just give us the ability to host our own servers, please! Why does it cost the same to host a server for your one or two friends as for 30 drivers in a league race?

I just want to play online with my brother. Why do I have to pay ? It’s ridiculous

I am already paying too much for iracing, it should cost 1 cent to host a race, just so people wont create hosted sessions without purpose, . Or include a peer to peer option if just 2-4 friends want to battle it out, with this you are not stressing any server.

Yeah I was a member since 2009. Not anymore. Sick of spending so much money for EVERYTHING. If you like buying content, iRacing is the sim for you. If you like core sim developments (in a timely manner), look elsewhere.

someone explain to me why this dude is a rookie in everything has 400$ and has alot of content for no reason

Seriously? 50 cents per hour? Do you want me to tell you how much it costs to spin up an EC2 instance that will be capable of hosting the race? That's ridiculous, especially in the subscription-based game where you also need to pay for content one by one.

Most stupid payment model I've seen. But whatever I guess.
