Hi Jack,
Just a quick question, If I found out the value of 'r' without working out using my calculator, will I still get full marks even though I didn't used the long winded method?

Many Thanks!

Hi,
If I worked out R using the casio calculator by importing the x's and y's in the table and then pressing shift and 1, selecting regression and choosing R, would I still get all the marks?
Thanks

Hi Jack, why do you divide the Sxy, Sx and Sy by n? I thought you didn't have to do that when calculating these values. Do you not get the same answer when you don't divide anything by n? Your videos have been great and this playlist has been a huge help!

When you calculate the standard deviation at the start, I worked it out manually and got a different result to you. Then I realised I was doing root S_yy/n-1, but you did S_yy/n . I thought it was S_yy/n-1 ?
